Gauri Khan opens up on Shah Rukh Khan’s interior design skills; Mannat calls his most memorable project

Shah Rukh Khan’s wife, Gauri Khan, is one of the city’s renowned interior designers and she often leaves people spellbound with her work. In fact, Gauri tends to grab headlines for his impressive equation with Shah Rukh Khan and they never miss an opportunity to groom major pairings. Recently, Gauri, in one of her interviews, was asked about King Khan’s interest in interior design and she revealed that the superstar has a keen eye for interiors.

In his interaction with Eastern Eye, Gauri said that they worked together on the Red Chillies office revamp and recalled how passionate Shah Rukh was about the project. In fact, SRK had given his opinion on colors, ceilings, etc. He’s taken a lot of interest in this project and likes to get involved as much as possible,” Gauri said. The boss also pointed out that all designs in the project received a green signal from Jab Tak actor Hai Jaan.

Additionally, Gauri named their Mannat mansion as her most memorable interior design project. “It’s so personal and an ever-evolving project for me,” she added. Gauri also mentioned that she keeps redoing the corners of her house and even rearranges her children’s room from time to time.

Interestingly, there are reports that Gauri also designed the new Mannat nameplate and it cost around 25 lakhs. Apparently Gauri wanted a sleek nameplate that would suit the Khans standard.

Meanwhile, speaking of work, Shah Rukh Khan is currently working on Siddharth Anand’s Pathaan with Deepika Padukone and John Abraham. We will also see it in Dunki by Rajkumar Hirani.
