Ikea launches into bespoke interior decoration advice
Ikea launches a tailor-made interior design consultancy in Belgium. The price depends on the package chosen, from 29 euros for a one-hour session.
The new ‘Interior Design Service’, which Ikea has already rolled out in other countries as well, wants to encourage Belgian consumers to also opt for personalized and personal advice on interior design. The demand for a service to help choose a design for a home or professional space has been increasing since the pandemic closures.
Clients (and businesses) can book individual sessions with an interior design expert. There are three packages for regular consumers, ranging from 29 to 174 euros depending on the additional services included – but all include an hour-long conversation with an expert. More expensive packages may also include 3D drawings, moodboards, tips and ideas, and a shopping list. Companies can schedule a free consultation, after which the service costs 29 euros per hour.
“Our long-standing know-how in interior design, which we can now make even more personal for customers, allows Ikea to contribute even more to creating a warm and familiar environment, where our customers can relax”, explains spokesperson Carolien De Smit. a home where you feel good, a home where you can relax, work and be with friends and family: it has become even more important in this new normal.”
