The Northumbria School of Design is seeking to appoint an outstanding individual to join our vibrant community and particularly interested in candidates with a professional and research practice in the discipline of interior design. The role will help develop and lead our expanding portfolio of disciplines and the future of the subject within our school. The successful candidate will have an advanced understanding of a range of commercial, interior, architectural and spatial design practices, including retail, workplace, leisure, hospitality, healthcare , transport and exhibition. You will demonstrate an ethical and social commitment to the development of interior design in society and a detailed understanding of the creative, technical and applied industrial skills required of the discipline. You will be an inspiring teacher and educator who can bring creativity, creativity and knowledge to the teaching environment and work within a multidisciplinary team. You will be instrumental in developing new collaborative design and research projects, collaborations with external partners, and your own high-quality research results. You are committed to contributing to the research program of the School of Design and to contributing to the development of the sustainability and regeneration of the discipline, professional networks and reputation of the School.
