I meet Sarah in her new home in Kelowna and immediately feel a sense of calm as I suddenly find myself in a beautiful environment devoid of all clutter.

As we admire the incredible view of the lake from the Upper Mission area of ​​Kelowna, Sarah explains that she and her family recently moved here from Toronto: “We wanted our family to be closer to nature and all related activities: biking, hiking, swimming, golfing, these are some of the things that keep us active. I found people here extremely warm, welcoming, supportive and enterprising; it’s really inspiring.

Sarah says she always wanted to run her own business and after 25 years working in the television industry as an actress and in marketing, she finally decided to start a home organizing business.

“As a mom of two young boys, I saw decluttering and organization as a necessity and discovered how essential it is for families. After three years in the business, my main focus is to help people structure their space to suit their lifestyle, especially when browsing New homes offer a great opportunity to start fresh and set things up with systems from the start. enjoy getting to know new people and playing a role in supporting them through major life transitions – seeing the impact this has on their lives is extremely rewarding.

Icon Style: My girlfriends have great fashion sense and have the biggest influence on my personal sense of style.

Period that inspires your style: I’m drawn to the timeless modern, from mid-century onwards.

Movie or TV show that inspires your style or whose style you love: Emily in Paris was a real escape and made me feel so nostalgic about my time abroad in Europe.

Favorite cocktail or wine: Sparkling wine (Cedar Creek has my favorite so far) and homemade basil-lime margarita.

Currently rotating album: Hollow creeks’ Moments (The single “Coastline” is also on repeat…it really resonates with me around our move this year.)

Favorite flower: Peony.

Favorite city to visit: I am delighted to be able to visit Vancouver with my family and friends from the west coast.

Favorite app: Audible: A subscription was one of the greatest gifts I’ve received.

Favorite place around the world: Right now, it’s at our dinner table, sharing meals with friends new and old.

One thing that constantly lifts your spirits in these difficult times: just keep moving – learn, engage, act, reflect, recharge and repeat.

Fashion Obsession: Handbags – I’m always on the lookout for timeless structured shapes that will go with everything and I tend to keep an edited collection of favorites that I wear well. In winter I bought a Furla Meraviglia handbag and this summer I bought a cool cork and blue bag.

Accessory you spend the most money on: Apple watch with straps for different occasions: blue sport, gold mesh buckle and pink resin.

Necessary indulgence either for fashion or for beauty: Girls’ getaway weekends… it’s where we can share inspiration, shop together and hike, lounge by the pool, dine and dance, in style.

Beauty secrets: Stay active doing things I love – I can’t beat that inner glow feeling fit and energized.
