But where is the glamping retreat featured in the BBC Masters in Interior Design? Here’s everything you need to know.
Where is the Welsh Glamping Retreat?
Called Brook Cottage Shepherd Huts, the newly opened glamping hideaway is located on the glorious Llŷn Peninsula, close to the border of Snowdonia National Park. The cabins offer a quiet rural retreat in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty with stunning views of the Yr Eifl (The Rivals) mountains.
The retreat offers luxury adult-only glamping and the five traditional shepherd-style huts have been lovingly handcrafted by co-owners Mark Barrow and Jonathan Gooders, both of whom have a background in fine art.
“It was a great opportunity,” commented Mark Barrow. “We have five huts and they were down to five designers by Episode 5, so they each have a hut.”
