Meet Blum: sponsor of the Interior Awards 2022

This year marks at Blum third year of partnership with the Interior Awards, having joined the team as a sponsor in 2020. We asked Tania Bailey de Blum to share with us a past winner who really stood out, her favorite place to host and what she’s looking forward to with this year’s awards.

Tania, tell us about one of the previous Interior Awards winners who made an impression on you and why?

Tania: My favorite is the Clark Bardsley Installation Award Winner from 2018. I have a passion for early and mid-20th century design. The nod to the history of design and the artistic practice of installation in the fine arts is wonderful, yet full of whimsy.

Is there a favorite host, here or abroad, that you always recommend?

Tania: at Al Brown Depot-restaurant at 86 Federal Street in Auckland. It’s a fresh and casual dining experience with a unique Kiwi menu. Always a special meal for local or foreign guests.

What did you like the most about your role as sponsor of the Interior Awards?

Tania: This will be my first year of participation. I have been involved in design for my entire professional career and have been with Blum for five years, with 20 years of experience in the kitchen industry. I look forward to an exciting new event, showcasing the best design for 2022.
