Pinnacle Industries, an automotive seating, interiors and specialty vehicle company, has announced its partnership with Cityflo, a Mumbai-based app-based shuttle service, for the latter’s new bus. As part of this collaboration, Pinnacle will design, develop and manufacture the seats and interior of Cityflo’s new proprietary bus. The company says this new bus will be the first of its kind in the country, built specifically for Indian urban commuters. Cityflo aims to add 1,500 new such buses which will serve 1 Lakh customer over the next 2 years.

Pinnacle Industries worked on the design, development and manufacture of seats, interior trim panels, luggage racks, driver’s partitions/magazine racks, umbrella stands, roof, floor and interior lighting. atmosphere for the new bus owner. The company used a Bharat Benz chassis as the basis for the new bus, and completely redesigned and converted the cabin to meet Cityflo’s customer requirements.

While the company has yet to unveil the new bus, Pinnacle says it worked on several aspects before arriving at the final shape of the seats. These include new ergonomic seats with adjustable neck rest with memory foam cushions, rigid lumbar support, individual charging ports per passenger, center armrest between the seats and an intuitive recline and recline mechanism. seat sliding for better comfort.
