SENIOR INTERIOR DESIGNER

Studio PCH is currently seeking a Senior Interior Designer with over 7 years of experience in high end luxury hospitality and residential design. This position will be focused on the development of luxury hotels and private residences, from design to construction.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor in Interior Design;

  • Minimum 7 years of experience as a member of a design team in an interior design/architecture firm;

  • Hospitality experience;

  • Demonstrates a strong ability to work in a team;

  • Excellent organizational skills and strong communication skills;

  • Ability to be proactive and maintain a positive attitude;

  • Experience in FF&E selection and sourcing and manufacturer/supplier relations;

  • Mastery of AutoCAD;

  • Mastery of the Adobe suite;

  • Experience with Sketchup;

  • Experience with Studio Designer an asset (but not required)

  • Candidates must provide a work example that demonstrates applicable work experience.

Responsibilities include:

  • Daily coordination with the director, design coordination and project manager;

  • Develop and document design solutions from conceptual design to construction documents.

  • Translate conceptual ideas through diagrams, key visualizations, renderings into a presentation package. Develop and assist with client presentations.

  • Ability to create a complete set of construction documents;

  • Create FF&E specification packages;

  • Execute and coordinate drawings, including plans, sections, details and schedules;

  • Coordinate with consultants and manufacturers;

  • Daily search

  • Ensure presentations adhere to Studio PCH, Inc. standards;

  • Assist and coordinate the selection of fabrics, samples, selections of finishes, materials, paints, etc.

  • Ability to purchase, procure and coordinate the logistics of all decorative elements for the installation of a project.
