space perspective unveils revised lounge interior for ultimate space travel

An all-new capsule design for the Neptune spacecraft

Space Perspective revolutionizes the space travel industry by improving the design of its Neptune spacecraft. New design provides ultimate safe spaceflight experience using pioneering new software and world-class space ball experts. Currently in production, the travel pod is incorporated with a splash cone to make ocean landings smoother and smoother. As a continuation of the previous model, the luxury space travel company guarantees a safer, more comfortable and ‘even more exciting spatial experience.

“We developed the capsule to be the most exciting, long-lasting and carbon neutral way to reach the edge of space.’ The updated version comes with a sleek spherical exterior that makes the most of 360 degree panoramic views through large patented windows and a roomier saloon interior with more headroom.all images courtesy of Space Perspective

Working on the design with London-based industrial design studio Of My Imagination, Space Perspective unveils a sleek new interior for its latest space balloon. The company worked with Siemens Engineering and Amazon Web Services to create pioneering capsule and splash cone designs. Of the design’s new exterior, MacCallum said: ‘The team came together to create an incredibly robust, safe, incredibly elegant and luxurious system for the Neptune spacecraft. Simplicity and automation are the keys to safety.’

As flights will begin commercially from the end of 2024, the model has a pressurized and air-conditioned capsule powered by a patented SpaceBalloonTM. The prototype capsule is currently under construction at the company’s state-of-the-art campus near NASA’s Cape Kennedy Space Center in Florida.

The interior uses a sleek design, accommodating a bar, lavatory, elongated seats and oversized windows, and also provides additional safety benefits for pressure resistance. Large windows will be accompanied by satellite imagery and 360-degree cameras to zoom in and out of the mesmerizing view. To further maintain the pleasant interior atmosphere, the vessel includes a patent-pending thermal control system. Like an astronaut helmet, reflective coated windows are provided to maintain comfortable temperatures and limit solar gain. space perspective unveils revised lounge interior for ultimate space travel

“Space travel presents a new realm of exciting challenges and creative thinking. As design specialists, we have integrated the travel experience and aesthetics – from headroom and groups of explorers that can comfortably move around the Neptune spacecraft from chair to toilet to bar – to, of course, maximize once-in-a-lifetime views,’ noted Dan Window and Isabella Trani, world experts in designing high-end transportation systems. “We now also have an exterior aesthetic that is just as powerful as the interior revealed in April – the engineering team has delivered an unrivaled result in terms of performance and safety.”

“As transportation designers, we are always looking to advance how and where we can take people next. Space travel is on top of that, which is why we are thrilled to be working with Space Perspective to play a part in crafting this amazing experience,” continues the duo.

“Centuries of balloon and parachute operation and development demonstrate that always flying the balloon from launch to landing, with traditional parachutes as a backup backup system, is by far the simplest, most safe and strongest. Our proprietary flight system means the capsule and SpaceBalloonTM always stay connected, and take-off and landing conditions are always under our control,’ MacCallum said. ‘From the category-defining details of the Space Lounge™ interior to the stunning exterior design, our team integrated the elements of physics, engineering, analysis and design to create the Space Perspective experience.
